Daniel Rothamel, a man I consider a friend and one who is commonly referred to simply as “The Zebra” is penning a series of posts on Realtor Magazines blog, Speaking of Real Estate.
Daniel’s first post there is “Shouldn’t We All Know More REALTOR® History?” And of course in usual Zebra fashion, it is very well done.
Daniel tells the story of how this gig came about on his own blog, RealEstateZebra.com.
Nice work Daniel! (now that said, if you read NARWisdom, you would have known about the existence of the Realtor Magazine blog!

I DO read NARWisdom.
One thing I have noticed about the NAR sites is that while there are many blogs, they are all fractured and difficult to find. It is a shame really, because there is some good content out there, but it is kinda hard to find. Plus, they don’t do any promotion (I had that discussion with Stacey from REALTOR Mag).
I figured you read Daniel, just had to hassle you a bit…
You’re right, there are a LOT of NAR blogs (maybe too many). And some have very good content. (As with almost any blog, sometimes you have to sift through the crap.)
I think they are very poorly publicized. The fact that MANY people who are active bloggers and read a lot of blogs have no idea they exist is telling.
Two awesome points….
1. The Zebra is awesome and i am glad to see him hooking up with NAR!
2. Jay is awesome and I am glad to see that his hard work here and elsewhere has “encouraged” NAR to get more involved in how their members want to interact with them.
