No, it’s not. Absolutes like “always” and “never” are rarely correct.
Charles Woodall at DothanHomeSearch.com has a great post that dissects one of the NAR’s latest “Public Awareness” campaigns.
He takes a look at one of the ads line-by-line.
I’d take a look at his post.

Thanks for the link Jay. I hope the post doesn’t come across as bashing NAR, because that wasn’t really my intent. I just want my potential customers to know that I don’t subscribe to the Association’s line of thinking on these ads.
I’m going to tell them like it really is. And I know you and a majority of the other real estate bloggers out there feel the same way.
Charles - I don’t think telling your opinion of what our trade group is doing is bashing. I think that maybe if more people would say how they feel, someone would get the message.
Charles (and Jay) -
That Dale Stinton commented on this blog, that Lawrence Yun is actually writing candid articles, that NAR is aware of blogs is a testament that articulate, cogent arguments against NAR’s campaigns can have an effect.
It just takes a loooong time.
Jim - agreed. There seems to be changes afoot. And positives changes at that. It could get interesting. Important to keep in mind that any bureaucracy can be slow to respond. That they are even trying is a great sign.
It’s like turning around the Queen Mary when she’s going full bore. It takes a long time and a wide space to turn her around, and folks have to stay at the wheel to make sure the turn doesn’t straighten out.
I do believe that we are starting to turn the wheel.
